The year is 750. A dynasty dies at a banquet, and its last hawk flies west.

The Story · 750 CE

One house fell. One hawk flew.

Damascus, in the year 750. The Abbasids have taken everything, and they invite what is left of the royal house to a feast of reconciliation. It is a trap. Nineteen-year-old Abd al-Rahman escapes the slaughter and swims the Euphrates beside his little brother, who turns back when the soldiers call out promises of mercy. There is no mercy.

For five years he runs. Palestine, then Egypt, then the long Berber roads of the Maghreb, always one rumor ahead of the knives sent after him. You play the man who would not die: the last of his name, crossing a broken world alone.

His enemies named him صقر قريش, the Hawk of Quraysh.
The Environment

From the Euphrates to the Guadalquivir.

We are building the eighth century as a place you can actually walk. Steppe palaces east of Damascus. Fishing boats on the Nile. Berber camps where the Maghreb turns cold at night. And at the far end of the road, green and half a legend, al-Andalus.

The cities are loud and alive, full of markets, river traffic and bad rumors. In 756 the fugitive reached Córdoba and made himself an emir with nothing but a name and the men who believed in it. The game walks you down every mile of that road.

The guard stance. Careful, heavy, stubborn. Your blade stays between you and harm, and the blocking is a living thing that bends and turns and never looks the same twice. You give up speed. You stay alive.

Equanimity

Liberosis · The Release

Then you let go. The world sharpens, your weight comes up onto the balls of your feet, and you begin to see the mirage: the ghost of an attack before it is ever thrown. Nothing is blocked in this stance. Everything is avoided, by a hand's width, like a boxer who has already read the punch.

  1. Past 2019

    The Founding

    Three developers and one designer, tired of big teams and bigger compromises. We started No More Bits to make one game at a time and make it properly.

  2. Current 2026

    Hawk of Quraysh

    Our first game. The flight of Abd al-Rahman, rebuilt in Unreal: one long road from Damascus to Córdoba, and a blade with two temperaments. In active development now.
